Hydrochloric acid, as a kind of inorganic chemicals, is a solution of hydrogen chloride (HCl) in water, which is a highly corrosive, strong mineral acid with many industrial uses. It is found naturally in gastric acid.
Hydrochloric acid is prepared by dissolving hydrogen chloride in water. Hydrogen chloride can be generated in many ways. The large-scale production of hydrochloric acid is almost always integrated with the industrial scale production of other chemicals.
Hydrochloric acid is a strong inorganic acid that is used in many industrial processes, such as in the pickling of steel, in the production of organic compounds, in the Production of inorganic compounds, to regulate the basicity (pH) of solutions, and in the regeneration of ion exchange resins. In addition, Hydrochloric acid is also used for a large number of small-scale applications, such as leather processing, household cleaning, and building construction.
