Some Kinds of New Energy in the Future Empty Some Kinds of New Energy in the Future

Compared with traditional energies, new energies generally have the characteristics of less pollution and large reserves. New energies play a significant role in solving the problems of serious environmental pollution and resources exhaustion in the present world. At the same time, because many of the new energies are well-distributed, so they are also very meaningful to solve the war caused by energy problem. The following passage will introduce four kinds of new energy which will be very popular in the future.

First, wave energy:
This is an inexhaustible and pollution-free renewable energy. In recent years, in the plan of new energy development of many countries, the use of wave energy has occupied an important place. Despite the high generating cost of wave energy needs to be further improved, but the current progress has shown the potential commercial value of this new energy.

Second, combustible ice:
This is a kind of solid chemical compound when methane and water are combined together. Its appearance is similar to ice, so it is called "combustible ice". Under the condition of low temperatures and high pressure, combustible ice is in stable state. The combustible gas released by ice melting is 100 times as much as the volume of the original solid chemical compound. It is estimated that the reserves of combustible ice are even more than the total reserves of coal, oil and natural gas on the planet.

Third, coalbed methane (CBM):
During the formation process of coal, the increasing of temperature and pressure will cause the coal to produce and release out flammable gas. From peat to brown coal, every ton of coal gas can produce 68 m3 flammable gas; from peat to rich coal, every ton of coal gas can produce 130 m3 flammable gas; and from peat to anthracite, every ton of coal can produce 400 m3 flammable gas.

Fourth, microorganism:
Many countries in the world are rich in sugar cane, sugar beet, cassava, and so on. By the use of microbial fermentation, these foods can be made into alcohol, which has the characteristics of complete combustion, high efficiency and non-pollution. If using alcohol to dilute gasoline, we can get "ethanol blended gasoline". What’s more, the raw material for the production of alcohol is very rich and cheap. According to the report, Brazil has applied "ethanol blended gasoline" to hundreds of thousands automobiles, which greatly reduces air pollution. In addition, we can also use microorganisms to produce hydrogen, so as to open up new avenues of energy.
